To think that the song Stairway to Heaven is uncanny...has a touch of the supernatural about it?

It's one of very few songs to make my hair stand on end...it seems to have something a leetle bit magical about it.

AIBU?

And what other music has this in your opinion?

It lost its magic for me when someone lent us a tape of The Money or the Gun versions of it. This was an Australian tv show, they used to have a band /performer on every week and they each did their own versions of StH.
When you have sat through 25 different versions, including a sea shanty, an Elvis impersonator and a punk-style band, the song just becomes funny.

Oh God!

Don't tell me that!

Kashmir has me all goose bumpy, Led Zeppelin are brilliant.

I also love Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac, hairs stand on end.

Yes, loads of dodgy cover versions don't help. I always thought Wuthering Heights was magical. Prefer the unremixed original version, though.

TheHouseOnTheLane · 05/01/2016 13:14

Oh yes Rhiannon is another! Funny that both Stairway to Heaven and Rhiannon have a Welsh connection.

Liz yes to Wuthering Heights!
