to think my neighbors may be messing with my car?

I keep seeing random scratches appear on my car, they are not deep and easily rubbed out but they do look like someone has walked past quickly with a key, they are also not very long. Is there anything else that can cause these types of scratches? they are also some are straight and some are wavey.
i also had someone take one of my wheel caps and replace it with one which doesnt fit the wheel tube thing that you put air into (i dont know the name) which has paint on it, i dont understand what the point of this was, they are £1 on amazon for 4?

disgusting: there is also something on my car badge at the back which looks like snot. Im going to get it washed tomorrow.

do you think so or maybe im paranoid? I have had issues with two of the males who live in the same converted house as me, its a long story why but i ignore their existence so maybe messing with my car is some childish way to get "revenge"?

Don't think you are being paranoid but without evidence there is not much you can do.
Could install a webcam to monitor the car from your part of the house?

Random scratches may be due to driving close to bushes. We live quite rurally and the council have been cutting back (excuse pun) on some of the hedge trimming in the lanes. My cars got some scratches like you describe.

Is there a back story with your neighbors?

I agree with scratches possibly being hedges and bird poo can look snot like (boak) not sure about the tyre pressure cap, maybe picked the wrong one up from petrol station floor?
