Well said Mr Doggers.

BooOzMoo · 30/12/2015 17:56

He thinks it's hilarious... He asked his mum for it for xmas. His plan is to get a shed and put all the equipment in there!
It better happen soon. I'd rather it was in our bedroom than in The bathroom.
He didn't think it would be this big!
He's got an old shed in his parents garden so guess what he's doing at the weekend!! Ha ha ha! I hope it rains!

Hey my DS loves his ducky curtains !

AliceInUnderpants · 30/12/2015 17:57

He thinks he can either block your son in or out of his bedroom? Is he serious?

BooOzMoo · 30/12/2015 17:58

Tell Mr Doggers the only sweating he'll be doing is on that bench!
He just asked if I want help folding the washing..... I might be upset for a bit longer Grin

BooOzMoo · 30/12/2015 17:59

It's not the only door to the bathroom and my don has an exit but he can't get into the bathroom. If he's messed himself I'll have to carry him round into our bedroom rather than straight into the shower!

Dipankrispaneven · 30/12/2015 18:04

So he's bought himself a weights bench and set it up in the bathroom in front of the door because I presume it can't fit anywhere else. Yep LTB.

That would be the door through which his disabled son accesses the bathroom. If it can't fit anywhere else then he shouldn't have set the stupid thing up at all.

I must admit, OP, you're being more tolerant about this than I would be. I would be telling him either it goes tonight or you do.

Furiosa · 30/12/2015 18:05

Those weights look weird.

Why are there lots of small weights instead of one or two heavier ones?

BitOutOfPractice · 30/12/2015 18:11

Furiosa so you can change it by smaller increments would be my guess Confused

I LOVE the ducky curtains

And yes, LTB, after he's folded the washing

captaincake · 30/12/2015 18:24

Have you asked him exactly how he proses DS gets in and out of the bathroom until this shed is built? YANBU.

Where did you get the ducky curtains from? DS would love those in his bathroom.

RiverTam · 30/12/2015 18:37

Is that a carpet on your bathroom floor?

FairyFluffbum · 30/12/2015 18:45

It looks like the flooring you get in hospitals river

We have carpet in our bathroom and I hate it

captaincake · 30/12/2015 18:47

I doubt it in a wet room - would be very soggy carpet! It appears to be wet room flooring I've never seen carpet go up the walls at the edges.

luciole15 · 30/12/2015 18:48

Put Xmas lights all over it?

Jux · 30/12/2015 18:52

Take it apart until the shed's sorted, otherwise it'll stay there forever. I'll lend you a screwdriver ...

YouTheCat · 30/12/2015 18:53

As those weights are so small, how many do you think you could insert sideways until your dh gets the message? Grin

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 30/12/2015 18:56

I'd be ashamed to admit to being married to such a thoughtless and idiotic twat. Your poor son! If anyone is carrying him all the way round the house to bathe I daresay it won't be the OP.

Twat

NinjaClaws · 30/12/2015 18:57

Superglue on the bar? Then LTB. Xmas Grin

grannytomine · 30/12/2015 18:58

It's not the only door to the bathroom and my don has an exit but he can't get into the bathroom. If he's messed himself I'll have to carry him round into our bedroom rather than straight into the shower!

I think your husband should be carrying your son round, good exercise for him.

BooOzMoo · 30/12/2015 19:02
  1. I haven't got a clue why he has all the smaller weights on the bar... Probably so they are not all over my bedroom floor. I take no interest as I am sensible and go the gym!
  2. It's a floor thing for getting out of the shower. Carpet thing. We have carpet in both bedrooms so want other kids to make sure feet are dry before they dry themselves in their bedrooms.
  3. Yep it's that really difficult to clean, other than with a scrubbing brush flooring!
  4. Ducks came from Argos, I think! DS loves them and can now say duck!!! Thinking of changing ones with nappy print do he might learn how to say " Change my nappy Boo!"

Makes me lol at the mumsnet questions!

OP posts:
BooOzMoo · 30/12/2015 19:04

YOU it's not going to work with the weights because my foot is up there at the moment!

G1veMeStrength · 30/12/2015 19:05

Sorry to be boring but please please please check you are not cocking up your fire exits. Apart from that he should LTB. Lift the benches. Or leave the bathroom. Or Lay The Base (for a shed)

FlatOnTheHill · 30/12/2015 19:07

That contraption would make me come over all bilious.

ouryve · 30/12/2015 19:09

I'm betting they're not rust proof.

Though I'm with the PPs who would be livid.

PrincessMouse · 30/12/2015 19:15

Well until his shed arrives I think you should tell him to workout outside. I think, crisp, fresh air and hard lifting is a great way to workout...
