To want to get back to the working week routine?

Been off since Xmas Eve and go back Monday 4th.

Xmas day itself was lovely round at friends, but I am really struggling with the time off. My cooking/shopping / washing/gym routine is all out of kilter. Husband and teenage son seems to be in the food cupboards constantly complaining there is no x or y.

House is a tip because we are around all day, even the dogs look a bit fed up ( I think they secretly enjoy having the house to themselves and a bit of talk Sport radio on during the week).

Normal routine is fairly hectic ( early starts, gym from work and then cleaning up and sorting out till 9pm most nights) but I'm craving it!

Is it just me?

Not looking forward to going back to work but am looking forward to going home as still at in-laws. They keep constantly wanting to drag me out for walks. I'm a) not a dog and b) 8 months pregnant. I just want to sit on the sofa, watch crap TV and not have to interact with people too much.

I've been back at work since Monday. It's nice being back in a routine and knowing I'm going to get some time to myself (no DC, but DP and I were both off for five days over Christmas and got in each other's pockets a bit too much). I loved having him around but at the end of the break I was actually looking forward to going back to work!

I'm off today but DP is working and it's lovely having the house to myself so I can watch trash TV without being judged

God no! I'm on my third cup of tea in front of the tv. I NEVER get to sit around doing nothing on my own.
Dh is at the supermarket and ds at nursery. We're picking him up at 1 to go to a family & friends party. Can't wait.

I´d rather spread out all of these days off by getting to leave work an hour early every day (not sure if they´d be enough hours...but you get the jist). Too many days off and the tendency to be unproductive is almost irresistible.

I'm loving it! I worked till lunchtime on the 24th and am off till the 4th. We're staying with my parents for most of that time and as I'm pregnant with their first grandchild everyone keeps bringing me snacks/making me tea/generally fussing over me :)

Am not looking forward to getting back into the up early, commute, busy working day, backpain by the evening routine...only a little while to go till mat leave at least!

I am craving a bit of routine although I'm also enjoying a bit of time off.

Dh is off today, randomly, and I've been thinking it's Sunday all day as a result. Will probably get up tomorrow and put the Monday bins out Hmm

Desperate to get back, mind you I don't go back until the 6th and Dh and the DC go back on the 4th- REALLY looking forward to those two days Smile

Love the time off, wish it could go on forever.
