Every single bloody month, they overcharge me. By ridiculous amounts. The first three months of the particular contract, they charged me over £100 each time, and it took weeks to get it sorted - turns out they'd been charging me for someone else's contract, but it took several people to work that out.

They've had to give me several refunds because they keep overcharging me, normally by £40-£60 EACH MONTH.

I was refunded in October for their error. Again. Last month, they overcharged me by £1.44, and I let it slide.

This month, having just checked my bank statement, they charged me over £78.

My contract is £15 - brought down from slightly higher as part of their apology for their repeated cock ups. I deliberately had to get a cheap contract because of my financial position, and got the cheapest phone I could get with the largest screen possible, because I am partially sighted.

I will be calling them tomorrow, again.

AIBU to think they could possibly get it right, just ONCE?

Vodafone are awful, I had a complaint with them that I took to the Telecomms ombudsman after 2 months + of trying to get my money back. They got it back within days, and a £50 goodwill gesture. I would thoroughly recommended the Ombudsman if you are getting nowhere!

I've downloaded an app to record calls and phoned them then gone thro all my notes n.asked for a detailed note summary on my file then the nice person in billing has also texted me a copy of it. One step forward?

not just us
Seems to be one of the worst operators around for customer service

When Virgin was NTL they messed us about so much so many phone calls to sort it, which eventually they did...apparently. So instead of charging me for internet each month they'd managed to cancel the charge out with a credit. No way was I going to spend ages on the phone to them again sorting it out. I think we got it free for 2 years until Virgin took over and noticed. Never asked for it back as "it was their fault"

Vodafone customer service is absolute shit these days. I wanted to add blackberry to my account, spent 30 minutes online with the chat service and was told it was done. Couldn't activate the BB services. Called 191, spoke to 6 different people, was told it had been done. Couldn't activate the BB services. Logged in to my account to try and do it myself, note popped up to say I wasn't elgible for it on my tarriff. How could none of the previous people I spoke to tel l me that?

They are awful. I an PAYG and they make things so complicated and then they keep changing things. I have just switched to another provider after over 10 years.

Agree joe Perry that worked for me too, after being left with no mobile in a flood-devastated town, things were sorted p d q. It really should not be necessary to escalate to that level though.
