Not quite the same but for a few years now we've been putting cryptic clues on our presents - good fun to guess what they are from the clue before we open them However DM's clues are so good that even she can't remember what they are!! She only did them at the end of November must be old age

I have missing Horrible Histories pens (Dec 2014), and lip balm (Dec 2015). Nothing additional missing this year but meant to buy more cheese for dh as got him a cheese board. I have some so that will have to do.

This is the answer to all those people who say that it is better to shop early, that they spread the cost etc. Clearly most of you end up spending more/without the presents because you miss lay things. I put aside the money and spend it all in one go in December - I know where everything is! :)
