I have a married friend, who wishes "Her gorgeous hubby of X years a very happy anniversary" on Facebook every year. I genuinely do not get why you would wish your hubby "Happy anniversary" on Facebook if you live with them and see them everyday.

Is it because I am too old to understand this Facebook malarkey?

See oddly I don't mind if it's a couple posting that they are celebrating x amount of years together, or show their little ones enjoying their birthday.

It's the direct posts addressed to people who won't read them or couple who always post memes about love/devotion/'best relationship 4eva' that make me bleurgh.
