Breakfast. Who has time for fucking breakfast on Christmas Day? That's what selection boxes were created for.

Mince pies. Christmas pudding. Christmas cake. Obligatory, apparently, yet nobody ever chooses to eat them any other time of the year for some reason; namely because they're actually horrible.

TV. I'll record the things I might want to watch but the telly can stay off for one day and we'll listen to music instead.

Spending the day in my pyjamas sounds grim to me. It's bad enough when I'm ill. I like putting something sparkly on and prancing around in a novelty hat on Christmas day.

Boxing day is for slobbing out.

Christmas cake is lovely. And people do eat it other times of the year, it is called iced fruit cake.
