Secret santa

Now this is not as much of an AIBU, I just need some opinions. We have our work Christmas meal tomorrow and this involves secret santa presents. I got someone who is not in my team and is new so I had no idea what to get her as I have only talked to her once.

I decided to make some home made sweets but now I am worried that I should have just gone with wine or something as the boxes I got are not huge and as I wrapped each sweet separately to cellophane there aren't that many sweets in each box :( I cant not wrap them as the fudge is so damn sticky.

So my question is, would you rather have home made fudge and marmalade sweets or the bottle of wine as a secret santa present?

I'd far rather have a home made pressie than wine! I don't drink but I would rather have something home made, any day! I would appreciate the effort that went into it, even if I didn't eat it!

I would love homemade stuff from a friend. But if I didn't know who it had come from I would be reluctant to eat it I'm afraid.

Gosh people are uptight - I'd happily eat home made sweeties!

I think a bottle of wine is dull, personally, but there you go - I'm not a big drinker.

Wine, but then I don't like fudge.

Personally is go for a bottle of Prosecco or a candle.0

I love home-made but I'm not sure if I'd eat something home-made I got anonymously if I'm honest.

Sorry but I'm another who would bin anything edible and home made unless I knew where it had come from.
