Anyone else HATE glitter Xmas cards????

I've been sent 3 so far. I fucking hate them. The first one caught me unawares. I opened it and it must have been about half a thimble full of silver and green glitter fell out of the envelope and scattered all over the BLACK work surface and floor. Work top cleaned up OK, but the floor

Textured tiles. Have swept, vacuumed, washed, and can still see it hiding in the nooks and crannies. I have a dog, so not really really houseproud, but I am oh so slightly over obsessed Aarrrgghhhh! Give me muddy paws any day.

Glitter cards should be illegal.

I used to joke & say when I kick the bucket I'll leave instructions for my ashes to be mixed with glitter & have a batch of cards to have some popped in & posted out.

Hate it. Hate it so much. I actually muttered this whilst opening a card my mum had passed to me earlier. I confess, rather than take it completely out of the envelope and risk the wrath of more glitter I just asked my mum who it was from and made a mental note to glitter bomb them. That'll teach 'em.

I also have a glittery bauble (someone gave it me) on the tree just at newly crawling DS height. By the time I got there he'd licked a fair bit of it. He'll be popping glitter for days. Hate it even more now.

Oh dear. I made my own cards this year with stick on fancy bits and lots of glitter. All over the country there must be people who hate me! Ooops.

Oooh sorry OP but I'm one of those hiring people who put little glitter snow flakes and stars inside cards too.
