My Geekbox - right to be worried?

Ordered one of these back in Nov for DH's birthday today. Looked at different options and this one looked the best, and at the time I didn't see any problems with delivery from reviewers.

Now it says it's been dispatched days ago but welcome box is pending dispatch.

Reviews say lots of these (both boxes) not turning up - should I cancel? Or keep waiting and assume it will get here for Christmas?

So I had an email 3 weeks that confirmed I had cancelled. Today I get a box. I have no idea if it's the welcome box that's randomly shown up 8 weeks after ordering, or another month's box. The online chat thing isn't working, I deleted the card and address ages ago, it doesn't look as if any money has gone out of my account... any ideas?

I think the welcome box actually says welcome box on it. But I'm not sure on that one. ..because mine never came Xmas Angry I'd open it too. If it's not signed for just say you never received anything!

poosey we had a box today too despite cancelling!

Didn't say welcome box on it so assuming it was main one. DH was pleased, except the t-shirt was massive.

If anyone wants to swap the XL t-shirt for a medium please PM me...

They've updated their complaints page so I'm flooding them again.

They're now sending me discount emails, they are quite mad.

Had friends over who were really interested in it but not after I'd told them our saga, they must be losing such a lot of potential customers.

They took the money for the box, a month after I'd had a confirmation email from them re cancelling. Twats. I'd also deleted the CC details and address...

Pester power. Emailed daily and DMed on FB. Then they refunded wrong amount so I started again. Vaguely got a welcome box too, a December one with one thing missing. Hmm

DH got me the Zbox. Paid for 3 months. I got one just before Christmas then randomly another one with the same theme but different contents just after Christmas. I've no fecking clue how these things work. It's supposed to be 1 box per month, new theme each month?

My DB has geekbox but not had any issues that I'm aware of. Could be an overload of orders in time for Christmas maybe?

I ordered at the start of November shouldn't have been over busy for that time of year.
What annoyed me was the cancellation email and then charging me, refund email then not refunding etc.

A real shame as this company could be such a good company but their workers are so poor at their jobs that this company should be avoided, even if their prices look good. The hassle of constantly having to contact customer services (through an online message as they have no phone number) and their copy-and-paste responses after you report incorrect orders and missing items is just too frustrating. I have ordered three (3) times from MyGeekBox and three (3) times they have got my order wrong and delivered short. The first time I ordered four (4) of their boxes and only received three (3), the second time the same, and the third time I ordered six (6) items and only received five (5). The second time they said do I want a replacement, I said yes and they then got back and asked me to confirm. I said yes, please send a replacement. They got back and said is it the same address. I said yes. They got back and said we can't give you a replacement, only a refund. About six more messages and I eventually got the refund.This last time (only a couple of days ago) when I only received five items instead of six, I told them I was frustrated and simply asked for a refund for the missing box. Their response - can you send us a picture of the damaged item. What?!? One(1) out of five (5) stars. I would give less if I could.
