And now he has told me I'm going to be evicted!

FFS - my life is a sitcom.

I think so too TripTrap. Xmas Grin

On page 1 OP clearly states that she bollocked these men. Now she claims she was "PO-FUCKING-LITE". I'd love to know how you can give someone a polite bollocking. Xmas Grin

No doubt the story will change again shortly. Xmas WinkXmas Confused

CheesyWeez · 07/12/2015 17:14

Sorry X-post. Check how they were able to get in. Check the CO and fire alarms yourself. good luck OP and wow, £700 pcm for a room? with a shared toilet? Rents are really getting out of hand. Sad

Enjolrass · 07/12/2015 17:15

So you didn't bollock him, like you said or run him out like you said?

Are the house mates aware he isn't the landlord anymore?

Fairiesarereal · 07/12/2015 19:47

maybe the Landlord is a ghost, he used to be the landlord many years ago and doesn't realize he died. Now every 7th of December he haunts the stairways evicting anyone he bumps into

Hee hee that made me laugh out loud Grin

What I don't understand is why the confused old German man and his Mexican son are letting themselves into a house that they don't own anymore - what's in it for them? Confused

ftm123 · 07/12/2015 19:55

Seems far more reasonable now I understand that "running someone out" does not involve a crowbar.

PirateJones · 07/12/2015 20:34

To evict the OP and Tequila!

DotForShort · 07/12/2015 20:41

Wot? Confused

goodnightdarthvader1 · 07/12/2015 21:55

You responded that you live here. Yet that wasn't in your "blow-by-blow" account earlier. Bored, OP?

Dipankrispaneven · 07/12/2015 21:58

You bollocked them and ran them out of the house, but you were polite? Your definition of polite is clearly not mine.

whois · 07/12/2015 22:39

#confused

Pensfriends · 08/12/2015 03:22

I've read all of this now, it didn't make sense in the beginning and it makes less sense on page six.

Senpai · 08/12/2015 03:47

Being rude isn't a valid reason to evict someone. They can bark, but they have no teeth to bite with.

Anniegetyourgun · 08/12/2015 05:46

OK, you started off polite and then firmly asked them to leave when they appeared to be just random bods who had no legitimate business there. That's neither odd nor contradictory. That the old gentleman is a bit confused as to whether he still owns the place is also understandable, in a sad sort of way. One does wonder about the other people though: the tenants who didn't seem to realise their landlord had changed, and the - minder? - who backed him up. May have been equally confused of course. Just because he was younger doesn't mean he wasn't on day release from the same clinic, for example.

Shutthatdoor · 08/12/2015 06:11

I have no idea whether I am renting legally. I just know that we paid £1568 to move in here. Into a fucking room. Not a palace. And if I encounter randomers in my house, I WILL ask them who they are!!!!

You don't seem to get it isn't YOUR house. You rent a room.

Fairiesarereal · 14/12/2015 09:56

EvaBING Did the Landlord ever contact you over the incident? did you get evicted?

Stillunexpected · 15/12/2015 09:48

Fairies given that he was the EX-landlord, presumably not Grin

Summerisle1 · 15/12/2015 14:15

I think she has more to worry about now. What with the knife-wielding flatmate. It's certainly all go round her gaff.

Stillunexpected · 15/12/2015 17:22

Some people do lead interesting lives. Seems like the previous landlord was the least of the issues.

Topseyt · 15/12/2015 18:20

Knife-wielding flatmate?? Have I missed an exciting thread? Yet again!!

Gruntfuttock · 15/12/2015 18:29

Topseyt It's this one

Fairiesarereal · 15/12/2015 19:25

Fairies given that he was the EX-landlord, presumably not

Oh yeah I forgot he wasn't the REAL landlord Grin

Ooh I've missed the knife-wielding flatmate too, got 10 pages to catch up on Grin
