Was just hunting in my handbag & wondering if it's just me that carries all this nonsense about !?

Amongst the usual everything but the kitchen sink I seem to be carrying :

Reading every list should have put me to sleep, but they are strangely fascinating. Bag downstairs, so no list, but do know that there is a heavy envelope in there of £100 in change. Very heavy change. To give to DM on Saturday and which will lug about all day tomorrow.

What is a "kitten surprise"? It sounds a bit like something you make with leftovers. .and how can the kitten be separated from the surprise?
