rubymallorywhite · 03/12/2015 13:55

Need some distraction from the horrors of real life !

Was just hunting in my handbag & wondering if it's just me that carries all this nonsense about !?

Amongst the usual everything but the kitchen sink I seem to be carrying :

A set of 3 Juggling balls

A Tupperware dish full of green teabags (I never drink green tea)

A mooncup (Clean)

An aux cable (Ipod to car)

A pair of socks (Adult, Clean)

Any advances ?

Oh, also a small reusable carrier bag with sharks on it.

OP, did you know you can look up youtube videos where women show you all the things they have in their purses?

H haven't looked today, but I will give this advice - I'll let you guess how I learnt.

Don't pick up hand bag, stick hand in to feel for keys and do that little jiggle to hear them without actually taking out the keys you have felt and heard to check what they are.

Getting back to the front door to find the keys you have been carrying around are in fact, some random, never seen before, 'toy' keys your mother gave to your dd to play with are not helpful for getting back into the house you are now stood outside of.

Thankfully, I did manage to pick up my mobile so I could call my Mum to rescue me. the home phone doesn't work outside the front of the house, I've learnt that the hard way too

I want a bag like pp that sounded like Selfridges beauty hall, but since having to give up big bag for small but perfectly formed bag it can't happen.

I really did do myself a mischief with too heavy a handbag requiring weeks of physio/painkillers and a wonky bag. Let me be a lesson to your!

Wallet
Notebook for lists
4 pens
Half a pack of Werthers originals
Controlled drugs that must be kept in a locked cupboard 1.5m from the ground (and yet i have to take every 4 hours so how's that supposed to work Hmm )

Hairbrush
Referral letter for doctors appt in January
Reading glasses
Sunglasses
Phone
IPad and headphones so i can study at hairdressers (snap! pp)
