I think that clip shows what a pro cfv is. She carried on through technical difficulties, she smartly took out the ear Piece and carried on. She didn't do an Ashlee.

I dont think its very nice to laugh at someone when something goes wrong while they are doing their job. You wouldn't do it to someone in an office.

She was even there at that gig for humanitarian reasons to help end cancer.

Geri halliwell also has the same nasty comments at her during her hay day. But she's grown up now and likes performing. Even if she isnt an excellent singer. She even signs so her death fans can enjoy her music.

OP, yes she carried on dancing for sure! But did she sing? Nope! It was like a little squeak in a bucket, I sound better when I'm singing along in the car (and my DH tells me I have a voice that sends cats running scared!)

She cannot sing without auto-tune.

Geri Halliwell as far as I'm aware was never convicted of assaulting someone with a menial job and also racially abusing her....

Geri though she was a bit of a pain re her yoga on beach sessions, dramatic weight loss etc never seemed to court media interest (apart from her beach yoga etc sessions) in the exact same way Chezza did, Geri also comes across as quite likeable and she can sing. I can't say the same about Chezza eg she can sing or is quite likeable.

I think being a celebrity does give people a right to bitch about you. You're selling yourself as a product, an ideal. Perhaps when you're like Chris & Gwyneth used to be, never seen together, don't give interviews about your personal life, don't sell your wedding pictures or do awful adverts or use incidents in your personal life to gain public sympathy and shake off a bad image or deliberately cast yourself as a role model to young people; then yes, you might have a point about your art or music being your product.

Yes, I do think the public have a right to comment. Otherwise it's like being sold any other product, like food or a TV, without being able to say that it's a bit rubbish.

Also OP didn't you get the memo - most if not all celebs in the public eye from A list to Z list know it looks a heck of a lot better if you do odd charity appearance, are a patron for a little known charity etc.

I can't tell you if Chez is affailiated to any particular charity, if any charity or illness has touched her little stone cold heart.... But i can see how she plays the PR game.

In fact the funniest part of her "career" for me was when it all went tits up states side and she came running back to Simon with her tail between her legs.

Thing is, the randomness of starting a thread like this in a forum like AIBU is always going to attract controversial responses. If this thread hadn't been made, most of us would have gone about our days without giving CFV a second thought. If someone had made a "I hate Cheryl FV" thread, some would have agreed, some would have defended her, some would have ignored it.

I caught some of the Z Factor on Sat night, I thought she seemed as if she'd been on the sauce!! I am not a fan not sure she has much talent. She is pretty granted, but I also think she struggles with being articulate most of the time and is only where she is because of how she looks.

So OP, what was your actual AIBU? Because you clearly can't take on board that 99% of the replies here disagree with you. It's fine if you are a fan -enjoy. You can't expect everyone else to share your views.

Hmm just read the hello magazine article about her attack on the toilet attendant. Not saying that magazine doesn't make stuff up but apparently Nicola from GA was with her and gave evidence saying the attendant punched cheryl twice before cheryl hit her. Guess court didn't believe this though. Interesting..... Is Nicole a liar then?
