They've got malteaser ones after we went shopping and chose, saying they couldn't all have the £10 Lindt ones - £30 on advent calendars seems ridiculous!
But now I want the Hotel Chocolat one and id feel really mean spending £12.50 on mine now.
This really is a first world problem Grin

What is there to 'get'? It's not rocket science. You open a door a day and there's something behind it that you like.

To clarify for you. I said I don't get it for adults, grown ups, not how it works Hmm

I would have liked the Lush one for me and eldest DD, but £50!!

SoWhite · 01/12/2015 19:35

I have the Lush one - was a bit disappointed. It is really a gift set - doesn't have doors for each day.

FUN.....fun and chocolate....what's not to like?!

CakeNinja · 01/12/2015 21:43

A LUSH advent calendar? Shock oh I would totally have got that for myself without a second thought had I seen it!

Merguez I thought you were saying I had made the spelling mistake - I was furious with myself and checked about 3 times - then googled the word calendar to see if I was mistaken! Phew, not my error.

Blimey I didn't know there were all these fancy calendars!
We've got a choc one and a pic one brightening up our hall, and am meaning to send one to my nieces and nephew too even though they'll have to catch up a few days!

Mean?
2 tier spending?

I've heard it all now!
Sometimes I am just Shock at MN.

We have a cloth one with 25 pockets that you can put anything (small) in. I usually put chocolate coins in it.

I have an Arran Aromatics one that I bought for myself for £40. Each day you get a mini shower gel, candle or body lotion. I don't think my 13 year old ds would want one of those!

We have a traditional one with pictures as well.

If there's two-tier spending, it's the fact that my dh hasn't got one. Except that he has because someone at work bought everyone in her section a chocolate one.

This is the first three days of my yarn calendar knitted up :-)
