To wonder why weather presenters seem to wear evening wear to present the weather?

Mainly local ones. Current one has a nifty lace and black number. One yesterday on the national new had a black one with a completely sheer yoke and no bra.

Being a person with no life I wonder about this every single day. they seem to confuse formal and evening wear.

Ps. Is Lisa on Maternity leave again? There must be something in the water at Look North - Amy's just had a baby hasn't she?

I'm reliably informed that Judith of reporting Scotland is a lesbian pin up. I'm not a lesbian but I could totally understand this. There's rarely an inch of flesh showing - its all covered up but in a lovely lovely tight, I mean boss kind of way.

If you sit through Countryfile you will be rewarded with the Countryfile forecast, in which familiar weathermen 'dress down' in belted, pressed jeans and landowners checked shirts.

I love countryfile - its like when Gordon Brown tried to dress down for his holiday photos. They just look so starched and uncomfortable!

I often think they look like they're off out after work. Wait until it gets nearer Christmas, the sequins come out then.

As my old man says, Eno is a lot pleasanter to look at than the weather she's usually telling us about.

Someone said Eno makes all her clothes. Can't imagine her running up a new out fit every day. But, if you look, they are clearly separates or dresses from the same pattern.

I once met Paul on a night out in my much younger days. I amused myself by asking him for the weather forecast. He must have thought me a right prat.

Eno can barely strong a sentence together. I can't watch her as she trips over her words way too much for my liking!

I'm in London and haven't noticed this but was recently in Nottingham and the weather presenter was so overdressed and over made up that I actually took a photo of the telly and sent it to my friend saying "is this normal work wear in the north?" so I think it's a northern thing.

I get Paul the Weatherman too. My favourite is a woman on Sky News that always wears black shoes and tights. As the bottom of the weather map is black, it looks like she doesn't have any legs and is floating. She always reminds me of Orko off of He-man.

She has extremes,either proper high-glam or dressed in the dark. Once on the 10.30pm report she was wearing what can only be described as a purple gym tshirt with a pink sports bra over the top. I may have a picture...

Ours seem to dress very sensibly, but do appear to be almost continuously pregnant.

Your description of that outfit doesn't surprise me at all mrs - DH and I often call each other through to the TV just to see her outfits!

Just last week me and DS were making a joke about the weather lady looking like she was off out to a fancy do afterwards.

I don't know her name but she had a very fancy red outfit and too much make up on.
