to feel let down by the medical profession?

NC for this because the details may out me to people in RL who know my story and above all else I value my anonymity here on MN when I need help from you great bunch.

Basically I suffer with constant pain. I have chronic migraine. I exist with it on a daily basis. My doctors can't seem to find any way to help and despite having had every scan known to man, there doesn't seem to be any end in sight. I have to function, I have a family, but I have a dreadful quality of life and I am really at my wits end. I don't think I can do this much longer.

Please please share a positive story to help me keep going. Tell me it won't always be like this.

No positive story as such - just some . Chronic migraine sufferer too so I understand. It has blighted my life and I would have achieved far more had I not been a sufferer.

BUT - I have friends, lovely kids, a house, a job that I like most of the time. Some people have it a lot worse. I certainly don't feel lucky when I am mid-attack but I try.
