With the irritating hacker who has got into my emails?

And how the fuck do I get rid of them?

I have had that email address for nearly 10 years.

It has never given me any trouble!

Is there a 'cyber police' I can report them to? They have sent random crap to people for a couple of weeks now...

First things first - have you changed your password?

Who is your email provider?

ALemonyPea · 19/11/2015 11:07

Change your password, that should get rid of them. Make it so it has upper and lower case, numbers and characters, something that is hard to guess.

If you have the same password on other sites, change that too.

It's virgin media email.

I have been looking for a way to change my password, but I can't see one.

What's this hacker doing with your emails?

How do you access your email? There may be no point in changing your email password if your machine has been hacked (though it's unlikely to hurt), so you need to work out what's going on and stop it at the source.

I have an old ipad2.

It connects on Bluetooth to an old iPhone.

I go to virgin media.

No other machine or method.

The hacker is sending spam links to my contacts and to random other names.

Try looking in "my virgin media", as I recall that is where you change your password (or call tech support and they'll either talk you through it or change it for you).

I have managed to change it!
