To be annoyed that I have been added to this FB group

Someone I know on a very casual basis added me to a FB group they had just set up related to a hobby I have nothing to do with. I didn't think much about it and left it a few months and then whilst having a facebook clear out last night I "left" the group.

Just looked and I've been added back which is annoying. It's like having a big spring clean and then grandma turning up with a bag of shite from the pound shop for the DC's, also a bit presumptious on their part to assume I want to join and why isn't it like friends requests so you can ignore or decline?. Have unfollowed the group but can't leave because that would be a bit obvious.

Leave and block.

Cluck to leave the group. There's a check box on the pop up that says prevent allowing anyone to readd me to the group, check that and they'll leave you alone.

True gamerchick, see that was my initial response "what a dick why would you re add someone who just left" but then I had doubts and thought that maybe it was a mean spirited thought and I should be nicer.

This gives me the rage, how dare someone add me to a group without checking if I want to be added or not. Leave the group each time you are added and they might get the message. I had exact same scenario by some woman who does those overpriced party light candles. She added me, I left she added me again and I left and she hasn't added me again!

In your facebook settings you can opt for facebook groups to have your approval before you are added to the group

Leave and change your facebook pic to a sign that says 'Stop adding me to your poxy facebook group'.
