To feel really pissed off? (Rant)

so I e posted a few times before about my abusive ex.

He's been busy spreading around my hometown that he's father of the year and in a horrible bitch that won't let him see his daughter.
He has turned down contact 4 times now, because it has to supervises and that's not what he wants. His words being "I'd rather never see her again than have to do that."
He hasn't seen her since May.
Today we spent a full 2 hours in the same room (a kids play event) and he was there with his new GF and her DD. Not once did he so much as look at our DD let alone come over and see her or ask how she is. He's too busy playing happily families with his replacement family. He has really trashed my name even though I have done nothing wrong except for follow SS recommendation that his contact must always be supervised. If he doesn't want to see her that's fine by me! Just don't go round making me out to be the bitch when it's his problem not mine!!

Does his new gf know that? If he needs supervised contact with his own dd I'm fairly sure he shouldn't be having unsupervised contact with anyone else's.

No she thinks I'm a horrible bitter ex trying to play him through our daughter. Which is absolutely not the case! She's also pregnant with his child, which judging by the size of her bump, looks like he got her pregnant while we were still together. He cheated on me the whole time we were together so it really doesn't surprise me. I'm just so sad for my DD that this is the man who is her father.

YANBU. It sounds like he's using supervised contact as an excuse not to see her.

Does sound like you and your DD are better off. Don't worry, when this new family falls apart everyone will see him for who he is and will realise all the stuff he has said about you is total tripe!

People don't change, and she'll see soon enough why her ex has to see his daughter under supervision. Her poor kids.

As for rumors... You'd be surprised at people's bullshit detectors. Most people don't appreciate hearing someone moan about their ex who is a mutual friend or acquaintance. I would just go in with head held high and act like you've done nothing wrong, because you haven't. If they bring it up, just roll your eyes and tell them he does have a flair for the dramatics and that the court doesn't just willy nilly hand out contact only supervision orders.

Thankfully most of my friends and people around me don't believe him but it's still hard to hear the things he's been saying about me and my family. My DD is definitely better off without him! I'm glad he doesn't want to see her tbh which I know is quite horrible but I believe a father should be the basis on which my daughter will choose a man herself. I wouldn't want my DD anywhere near a man like him.
