To complain about a member of staff that watched me the whole time during a sculpture exhibition

I was the only one there ands I just couldn't enjoy it, he watched me the whole time, constantly huffing and when I escaped his glaze for more than 10 seconds he moved so I was in sight. It was very unpleasant . he even shouted at me not to touch the DVD player at the start, I just pushed play on it as it wasn't on a loop - just in the menu.

I think you might sound a bit of a fruit loop if you complain that someone was looking at you. And did he REALLY shout?

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 10/11/2015 18:27

Perhaps it was because you had that flu you were going on about on your other thread. Were you snotting on the sculptures?

Lostcat2 · 10/11/2015 18:29

Hmm you should have gone to the pub instead. Far more interesting.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 10/11/2015 18:30

Or come onto MN and started posting for the first time on lots of strange threads....;-)

PaulAnkaTheDog · 10/11/2015 18:31

I'd be glaring if you came near me with flu.

imwithspud · 10/11/2015 18:31

Maybe your flu was causing you to hallucinate and there was no man.

VulcanWoman · 10/11/2015 18:32

snotting on the sculptures Grin

ilovesooty · 10/11/2015 18:33

Do complain. I bet it will the best laugh they have all week. Grin

Seeyounearertime · 10/11/2015 18:34

Was the man wearing a uniform with 'Security' written on?
I understand 'Security' is code for 'raving pervert who'll stare at anyone.'
Grin

MrsBertMacklin · 10/11/2015 18:38

Were you wearing a big coat- maybe they thought you were going to steal something. Do you have a shifty face?

Hiddlesnake · 10/11/2015 18:58

Maybe going in wearing a stripy sweater and carrying a bag labelled "SWAG" was a bad idea?

Lauradarko · 10/11/2015 19:02

Ha at some of you!

Anyway I've now written a terrible review on TripAdvisor. With my rank there it will probably affect them, I await their public reply back.

Pathetic.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 10/11/2015 19:06

I would love to see the review.

'I went to the gallery and it was awful! They had a security guard and he looked at me. He also asked me not to touch the equipment. I really didn't enjoy the trip, although that could be down to the fact that I have the flu and really wasn't up for it.

YetAnotherHelenMumsnet · 10/11/2015 19:11

So we dunno whether this will come as a GIANT SURPRISE, but this is a PBP and you won't be hearing any more from them (we fervently hope).

PaulAnkaTheDog · 10/11/2015 19:12

No........ What? You mean her stellar reputation on TripAdvisor was.... all a lie?!

Gutted.

Sad
YouTheCat · 10/11/2015 19:18

Why do they bother? I just don't get it. Why make yourself look like a massive tit on the internet? Confused

MissTwister · 10/11/2015 19:21

What's a PBP?

ilovesooty · 10/11/2015 19:37

How surprising. Not.

PatrickPolarBear · 10/11/2015 19:40

The trolling on this site is just getting tiresome. Do people really have NOTHING better to do than come on here and make up shite pointless threads?

MissTwister · 10/11/2015 20:40

I don't get this. If you're going to make up something wouldn't you make it interesting?

VulcanWoman · 10/11/2015 20:42

Not much of an imagination maybe.

reni2 · 10/11/2015 20:44

It's the one with the FOREIGN flu.
