To be getting really annoyed with my neighbour right now?

It's 10:20pm, quiet residential street. Ndn seems to have invited friends round for a party on her drive. Yes her drive. She has a perfectly nice house and back garden.

It's been going on since 8pm, getting louder and louder as more drink is consumed. No music but we keep being treated to various renditions from the last 20 years. Take That seems to be a particular favourite.

We're attached, so feels a bit like the party is in our lounge.

I know it's not particularly late yet, could be worse, doesn't happen often etc. but surely this isn't reasonable behaviour?

We don't know them very well, so don't really want to ask them to keep it down..yet.

It is Friday, it does not happen often, is it really worth getting worked up over? Falling out with neighbours over? For years potentially?

Pray for rain?

I want to keep things nice, so won't be saying anything, just getting annoyed about the lack of courtesy really.

But you're right, I need to chill out a bit.
