DColleague wasn't at work at 830 as per usual. GHet a voicemail on our phones that his car has broken down, he's going to take it to the garage and will head in as soon as he can etc etc.

This colleague is lovely but sometimes just waffles on about nothing at all when you are busy doing something. And then even when you say, I'm just in the middle of something, I need to concentrate now shut the hell up said colleague carries on rabbiting on.

So.... I'm in the office on my own Music on, happily not being nattered to about inane rubbish and taking a quick break to go on MN

Itrs more the selective time of when to chit chat. If I can clearly see he's in the middle of something, I dont waffle on. He doesnt seem to get that. Im being an arse, I'm sure lol

Silence might suggest that he hasn't had a car breakdown at all. He's done something he can't even talk to you about, and the car is just a credible cover story...
