To report this male prostitute to 111

He's contacted me on an online dating profile twice now. I've reported him once a few weeks ago and nothing has happened with his account.

Firstly its clearly against the t&c of the app to use for selling yourself, secondly I don't need to pay for it and its pretty insulting. He may have a good body, but the face is very average.

Face very average
Obviously you must report it - to the Trading Standards Office !
How very dare he, with his vegetable face.
I'm thinking olive eyes, turnip nose and cauliflower ears
Nice bod, shame about the boat race ....

Shouldn't he have to pass an exam first, before opening [innocent face] his business

PiperChapstick · 04/11/2015 01:08

Is this a reverse? Are you the gigolo OP, do you urgently need medical help that's not life-threatening? Then yes, call 111. Unless pharmacies have something for a very average face.

And don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure you have a lovely face HUN Flowers

this has to be a troll thread but fpml

BubsandMoo · 04/11/2015 01:24

I think unsolicited cock shots should count as sexual harassment. When men whip them out in the street at you it's illegal, so I'd imagine the same must apply online?

BusShelter · 04/11/2015 01:57

The face is average as is the thread Wink

AnyoneFucoffee · 04/11/2015 07:48

I imagine the police would want a photo of you so that they can decide whether he is being insulting.

Howling.

catfordbetty · 04/11/2015 07:57

Section 5 makes it an offence to use “threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour” or to display “any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting” within the hearing or sight of a person “likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress ...

Honestly, catford I think it's the very average face that I'd find most distressing. All that fine bod, marred by a potato for a fizzog.

catfordbetty · 04/11/2015 08:22

The OP was offended by the implication that she might "have to pay for it". I think that's the basis of a very good case against this prostitute but, admittedly, I'm no lawyer. Prosecution for an average face seems harsh - how many of us might be caught in that dragnet? I dread to think of the strain on the British criminal justice system.

Hmm

I think 101 have more important things to worry about.

Plomino · 04/11/2015 11:37

Catford , section 5 doesn't work because neither party is in a public place . Try again . Harassment possibly , if it becomes a course of conduct , or maybe malicious comms , but not an offence under the public order act .

catfordbetty · 04/11/2015 11:44

I stand corrected.
