To suggest to a friend I dont see that much now that we STOP buying Christmas presents for each others kids?

Not sure how to approach her with this was going to send a text...

We used to meet up school hols but this last year after suggesting various meet ups etc. not happened mainly due to her cancelling. Kids dont really have much in common now.

Just think it's more habit now and oour kids havent seen each other since last Christmas.

Sounds like a good plan. I don't buy for friends kids either

I think so...also get the feeling she only contacts me when she wants to moan and get my advice on something so not feeling it right now with it all. Wish me luck!

Yes text her but don't big it up, so sneak in the middle of the text. So "hi how's things? Not seen you in ages etc. Just thinking shall we have a no present agreement this year? Am sure you have enough people to buy for, I'm trying to keep it simple anyway, smiley face, hope we can catch up soon xxx"
