Hi all,

I'm having a real struggle at the moment finding a job and thus not in a good place. I having been sending my CV to contacts I know through my current employment, and someone came back interested. I replied to this person, but was so excited I wrote 'talking' instead of taking and sent a reply. Now it looks like I can't even write and I'm worried this has harmed my chances, can someone give me a view/talk some sense into me? Note that I'm not looking for an editorial job or anything like that....

OP I'm in a similar position. It's sapping away at me and damaging my mental health to the point I'm quite concerned.

No advice, just solidarity

if it were me i would consider it a slip of a keyboard i have long nails and type funny words sometimes!

I think relax. One spelling error wont make or break your job success. Why dont you take a break from the search. You seem overly stressed by it.

Mrs C! Don't give up!!!
Trapdoor again- yes, probably the guy concerned just thought it was a silly error....
