walking down a busy highstreet yesterday, bloke walking toward me gets his last fag out of the packet, crumples up said fag packet and chucks it on the floor. There is a bin less than 10ft away. I go up to him and ask why would he throw that on the floor when there is a bin right there? He looks shocked/confused and shrugs. I rant something about what the streets would be like if everyone did that and that he has no respect cringing at how old I sound pick up the fag packet, throw it in the bin and walk away.

Tell my mum about it later and she says I'm so stupid, that I should just mind my own business, that I'm going to end up on the news as one of those people that gets stabbed in the street over a disagreement. Was I UR to say something?

It's not all bad!

I saw a man gobbling a pastry this morning, and he managed to drop pastry and jam all over the train. But! He cleaned up every bit and took his litter with him. Bravo.

I used to do this, I'd just say "You dropped this" and look them in the eye.

I can't stand it when people litter. I take my rubbish home with me or wait until I see a bin. It's not bloody difficult is it?

Yanbu op. After reading some of the pps I'm going to have a go at people.

A few years back I was about to get in my car with my friend one night when a couple walked past and lobbed their polystyrene container with half a portion of cheesy chips in it on the floor, just outside my gateway.

My friend, who is quite lairy, went to get the container and we got in the car. As we drove past the couple she put the window down and chucked the container at them, shouting 'you forgot this!'.

I do so hope they got the grease stains out of their nice going out clothes
