To be disgusted by the behaviour of this multi-millionaire son and boycott his products?

I just read of the poor little girl who has died several years after being brain damaged after her parents car was hit by Antonio Singh Boporan who was driving 70mph in a 30mph zone and on the wrong side of the road Confused

Since then it seems he's also been jailed for involvement in blinding someone in a bar brawl Confused

Apparently he's heir to hundreds of millions of pounds from his parents company 2 Sisters. I'm going to boycott their products (Goodfellas pizza, Foxes biscuits) because although I know lots of companies may have bad associations, I find his behaviour really vile and don't want to line his pockets/inheritance.

Yeah nice parents and nice bosses!

  • Even when he was on bail for dangerous driving in Cerys's case, the court was told that he was caught speeding at 95mph on the Aston Expressway.

I think the prevailing attitude that is coming across from both the parents and the son is that they think themselves more important than mere minions, so anything they do can be reasoned away by youth, length of time, or making monetary gestures. What is not coming across is any sense of responsibility, ability or honesty.

Many people come from wealthy, privileged backgrounds. Many of them actually achieve useful things, or use talents in various fields. Idiot indulgent parents to let this imbecile son go driving about all over the place in a souped up Range Rover at 19, not confiscate it from him and give him a directorship. Does the son have no talents or abilities of his own in any direction at all, in which he can be encouraged? Clearly not academic, but sport? Or a desire to travel? Rather than hanging around pubs and boy racers?

I would be really uncomfortable eating anything from this company, as I wouldn't trust the standards of production. As I say, its quite easy to avoid cheap processed crapola.

DA, are you the DM?

GiraffesCanDance1 · 21/10/2015 21:21

I dislike the way that the statement makes clear he committed the crime as a teenager, as if it's ok behaviour for a teenager to cause such devastation to others lives. We've all been 19, we haven't all caused devastating injuries to other families.

Looks like another reason to cook from scratch if the alternative is lining their pockets.

Thanks for flagging this OP. I will avoid.

WalkingToMordor · 21/10/2015 21:46

Oh, looks like someone has had a go at the company's Wikipedia page!! Sadly not able to link but Google it and look just above the logo!! Someone has added the words "murdering scum".

oneowlgirl · 22/10/2015 00:28

He really is murdering scum - hope he faces a new trial for murder & gets sent to jail for a substantial length of time. No remorse shown at all & further crimes committed - needs to be permanently locked up.

ReginaBlitz · 22/10/2015 00:49

This really makes me sick. He is fucking scum and things like this are exactly what's wrong with our justice system he would have got life in America.

He did the crime and he was caught speeding again afterwards.

now he has caused a death I wonder if they will re try him.

death is death isnt it, whether its immediate caused by your actions or years down the long suffering line? he has murderd this little girl and changed the course of this families lives for ever.

PeasinPod1 · 22/10/2015 15:35

This entire story makes me fume, just so livid and disgusted. Yes the dad is to blame also, he raised a son with so little conscience that he went on to blind someone. Typical spoilt little rich kid, probably ever hearing "no" or "you cant" and being given a ridiculous 4X4 tractor as his first car shortly after passing his test- idiotic. They also, despite being worth £££millions, put up a fight lasting years (and making up nasty lies) against the little girls parents claim for compensation/payment for her injuries and to fund her care, which was equivalent to 1/200tth of his entire worth/fortune and like a few quid to most of us on here.

You can see by images of this loser, his face is just devoid of any charcater or integrity, it is soulless and gormless. All the food brands the family creates are trashy and overrated anyway, so no even need to boycott myself, though I hope enough pressure on supermarket chains by a lot of people I've heard about, might have an affect.

originalmavis · 22/10/2015 15:40

I thought there was length of time after an injury that would lapse, after which it won't be murder.

Poor child died of an infection and his shiney extensive lawyers will argue (i think) that it wasn't as a result of her injuries.

He really doesn't look like he gives a rats about his actions. I don't suspect he or his family ever wake up in the black of night and cry for her. For themselves, maybe.

Reminds me of the Saudi wife who filmed he husband sexually abusing a maid and stuck it on YouTube. Her outrage seemed to be more 'poor me! My husband had been bad again!' Rather than 'this sleazeball is a pervert and I want him jailed for what he has done to this woman'. I assume the victim was a woman. Last I heard, wifey was facing Saudi justice herself for posting an xxx rated film.

Pantone363 · 22/10/2015 16:31

Just for full disclosure:

He was speeding at 70 mph in a 30 zone and was also on the wrong side of the road

He has subsequently been caught speeding again

He has also been convicted of assault more recently after a pub fight during which he threw a man on the ground and kicked him in the face leaving him blind in one eye

Scum

LineyReborn · 22/10/2015 16:41

Please tell me this man isn't still driving?

Pantone363 · 22/10/2015 16:55

Yes he is.

LineyReborn · 22/10/2015 17:45

That is fucking disgusting.

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 22/10/2015 17:52

Unbelievable Angry

Griphook · 22/10/2015 20:28

There was a documentary a few years back, police, camera action. It's on YouTube.
The family went through so much, their original home wasn't big enough for the whole family to live in with all the extra mediCal equipment needed for Cerys, so they had to live separately until a house big enough was converted. It was heartbreaking.

Imaging having to leave your family
at night. His sentence is a absolute disgrace.

BrianCoxReborn · 22/10/2015 20:47

I linked to the documentary earlier in the thread, Griphook. I'd forgotten the bit about them having to live apart.

I believe in karma. I hope one day he wakes up and is hit with the full force of what he's done. Every tear shed by her family, every heartbeat that ached, every ounce of pain and suffering he caused that beautiful girl and her family.

He isn't a man. He's barely human. Calling him scum is unkind to scum.

ButterflyUpSoHigh · 22/10/2015 20:49

He is utter scum and Mummy and Daddy have helped him get away with it. If you have the funds you can escape justice.

Cerys lived near my relatives it is so sad.

stopfuckingshoutingatme · 22/10/2015 21:27

This is so depressing to read I did not realise they used their millions to fight against the parents

But can anything be done ??

DrasticAction · 22/10/2015 21:32

You would think at the very least this man would be banned from the roads, what the F is going on Angry

DrasticAction · 22/10/2015 21:33

I mean would YOU want to go behind a wheel EVER AGAIN especially WHEN YOU COULD EASILY AFFORD A CHAUFFER.

If this was my child they would be banned from the road and given a chauffer.
