To be disgusted by the behaviour of this multi-millionaire son and boycott his products?

I just read of the poor little girl who has died several years after being brain damaged after her parents car was hit by Antonio Singh Boporan who was driving 70mph in a 30mph zone and on the wrong side of the road Confused

Since then it seems he's also been jailed for involvement in blinding someone in a bar brawl Confused

Apparently he's heir to hundreds of millions of pounds from his parents company 2 Sisters. I'm going to boycott their products (Goodfellas pizza, Foxes biscuits) because although I know lots of companies may have bad associations, I find his behaviour really vile and don't want to line his pockets/inheritance.

goodasitgets · 21/10/2015 16:45

He shouldn't be allowed to drive again. Caught speeding again after the crash?! I mean WTF AngrySad

Scremersford · 21/10/2015 16:59

Brian Maybe his parents need to take a long, hard look at having him on the payroll?

He's thick as mince. Seriously. Why would anyone want him on a payroll?

Letting him masquerade as a director is idiotic. I'd be worried that if a company were being run by persons with such bad judgment, other mistakes might be made elsewhere. e.g. food hygiene. Not that I buy processed sugar-laden crapola anyway.

MyFavouriteClintonisGeorge · 21/10/2015 17:06

Oh, I doubt AB goes anywhere near actual food production.

EternalDalmatian · 21/10/2015 17:11

Now that the little girl has died her parents want him to be retried for causing her death

Is this possible? I hope so.

catsmother · 21/10/2015 17:36

Re: speculation about the parents, I think it's not unfair to say that they must have been pretty idiotic and arrogant themselves to have bestowed a powerful Range Rover on a nineteen year old - as this vile individual was when he crashed into the Edwards family.

Millionaires or not - the vast majority of 19 year olds, by definition of being inexperienced drivers, would almost certainly NOT be able to handle such a car safely. A fair number of 19 year olds, in addition to lacking driving experience, wouldn't be able to resist 'showing off' in such a vehicle either - as this tragedy has shown.

So .... I'm quite happy to judge these parents ... who were happy enough to provide their spoilt brat with a status symbol for the sake of it which amounted to putting a potentially lethal weapon in his hands. I mean, I can't get my head round their utter stupidity, even if they didn't 'pull the trigger' so to speak .....

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 21/10/2015 17:44

This little girl was regularly cared for at the hospital I used to work at. I always used to wonder how the hell I would cope not only being in their position but in his parents position. I mean you would still love your child you couldnt just stop but I really couldn't imagine being able to look at him across the dinner table and help him financially and emotionally. His parents must be suffering as well. They must.

fearandloathinginambridge · 21/10/2015 17:47

I do agree that giving a 19 year old guy a high performance vehicle is highly questionable.

originalmavis · 21/10/2015 17:49

Typical overindulged rich kid. I suppose his parents could see no bad in him and just handed over whatever he wanted whether it was good for him or not. Who gives even a choirboy of a 19 year old a monster car to drive?

He has probably never had to actually admit he was wrong in his entire life. 6 months then a later sentence for assault? If it wasn't for rich mummy and pappa (and expensive lawyers) then I'm sure sentences would have been longer and actually served.

Who the hell would marry that brat?

BrianCoxReborn · 21/10/2015 18:03

It astounds me that a woman not only chose to marry him, but also had children with him.

Has she no self-respect?

He's not remorseful, he never has been, he's just unhappy that he got caught out and his face plastered all over the media.

The only remorse he has is for the impact it's had on his life.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/10/2015 18:10

I'm from the same area and it's fairly typical for kids to have personalised plates on new cars for their 18th.

There's massive sense of entitlement and Sutton is a little bubble, you dont realise how much until you move away.

Jux · 21/10/2015 18:14

Who gives a 19yo a monster car?

The same people who give their idiot thick-as-mince son a directorship.

Still being totally ober-indulged. Any sensible parent would have said "show us how you can be responsible by getting a job - any job - and living on your earnings like everone else has to." But no, these parents give their criminal son even more rope to hurt other people with. If we're lucky, he'll hang himself.

BareCubsHungry · 21/10/2015 18:21

Yanbu unreasonable and take it to twitter

originalmavis · 21/10/2015 18:40

Brian - im not sure if its his boyish good looks, sparkling personality or £160m inheritance.

BrianCoxReborn · 21/10/2015 19:21

Now, now, mavis - no actually you may have a point!!

originalmavis · 21/10/2015 19:27

Ive met boys like that - simar background (culturally and filthy rich). It definately contributes to a situation of feckless, lazy, entitled big heads with blind parents, in whose eyes, little baba poos gold and farts roses (probably pisses johnny walker blue label too). Oddly enough, their sisters usually turn out a lot better.

originalmavis · 21/10/2015 19:33

A colleagues niece was killed in a crash when she was was 16. There were 4 kids in the car - a fekking monster sports car (daddy was a high up exec in the company and had a rare souped up supercar).

I forget if little Timmy (17 ish) was supposed to have the car but he had it, smashed it, walked out of the wreck and tried to blame the dead girl for the crash (said she grabbed the wheel, but it was proven that be ause she was so tiny there was no way she could be reached it). His lawyer even tried to get the trial put back so that the lad could go on holiday.

The arrogance of the overindulged child, eh?

notquitehuman · 21/10/2015 19:35

After having a quick Google to see if others are boycotting this company, I noticed that 2 sisters are part of the government's shitty workfare scheme. So I'll hardly weep if people decide to boycott them.

Bunnyjo · 21/10/2015 19:36

YANBU to be disgusted by this man and his actions.

However, YABU to think you can boycott all their products. 2SFG have, over the years, acquired factories which supply frozen and chilled ready meals, food to go, biscuits, pizzas and much, much more to all the major supermarkets. Here is just a tiny arm of their business.

Bunnyjo · 21/10/2015 19:46

Sorry for posting a second time, but after a quick search through their website they proudly boast they supply to M&S, Waitrose, Tesco, Co-op, Asda, Morrissons, Sainsburys, Aldi, JD Wetherspoon, Nando's, Iceland, Greggs, KFC and more. They own the brands Fox's, Matthew Walker and Holland's Pies, and they also supply fresh meat and poultry to major retailers.

You might be OK if you eat McDonalds for the rest of your life - assuming their burger producer doesn't purchase meat from 2SFG...

I used to write speeches among other things. It was a well crafted piece of writing.

DrasticAction · 21/10/2015 20:54

Umm It doesn't seem his parents have done much to reign his behaviour in does it! They have made a fortune and their spoiled and entitled son has acted out his hearts desires.

I agree op, its hideous beyond belief is this man still on the streets?

DrasticAction · 21/10/2015 20:58

This times a thousand and I am also put in mind of the Saudi Prince accused of attacking staff in LA.

Vile.

One can only hope a goodly ( most) amount of their money goes to charity and support for dc hit by cars.

DrasticAction · 21/10/2015 20:58

There was no need to include 'nine years ago' as if that means it was all so long in the past as to be unimportant

YY very very poor and low and insulting.

DrasticAction · 21/10/2015 21:01

As well as reports of poor hygiene and contamination of products, employees have complained about poor working conditions and low wages.
