So my younger sister kept going on about my mums green elbows and was always told to stop it. This morning I noticed that she does actually have green elbows and they should be stopped

I seem to Remember women's magazines in the 80s advocating resting each elbow inside half a squeezed lemon. You cut the lemon in half, squeeze the juice out and then use the shells as handy elbow cups. It's meant to bleach and clean the grotty elbow skin.
Not sure why people in the 80s had such manky elbows.

I have some really, REALLY gross images going on in my head right now.

This was on Radio 4 yesterday (?last night) the guy with scaley green patch on elbow. I didn't listen thru to the end to find out what it meant.
