To tell my mum the truth about her elbows?

So my younger sister kept going on about my mums green elbows and was always told to stop it. This morning I noticed that she does actually have green elbows and they should be stopped

OP posts:

Is she the hulk's mum?

Gruntfuttock · 20/10/2015 23:27

Maybe it would be a good idea to get your mum to ask a pharmacist about her green elbows.

We bought green ketchup once, couldnt stomach it, just wrong

My hedgehog has green elbows when he rubs against grass. It's hard to clean but a toothbrush usually gets it off.

Your sister sounds like she needs help, though. Is she often uncontrollable and aggressive?

TheoriginalLEM · 20/10/2015 23:41

does she have green knees too? does she have a new dp?

I will be serious. Although it is funny thread.
My elbow skin was very dry at some point and google suggested Zam-Buk cream/ointment as a treatment. So I ordered it. The thing is - it's dark green and when put on elbows it leaves them green. Maybe she is using it as well?
So if you want to stop the green elbows, throw away this ointment and get your mum good moisturiser.

HTH

anchor you have a hedgehog? That you clean with a toothbrush?

Is it Friday already?

PrincessFiorimonde · 20/10/2015 23:57

OP, not sure how you think your mother can be 'stopped'. Or why your sister is so cross and aggressive about it all.

But this is a real sadface situation. Sad Sad

(So sad I had to do it twice.)

This reminds me of the T-Rex supermarket thread.

SmallLegsOrSmallEggs · 21/10/2015 00:05

Are we being Jeffreyed?

TheoriginalLEM · 21/10/2015 00:18

Don't be ridiculous! ! everyone knows t rex don't have elbows

EchoOfADistantTide · 21/10/2015 05:56

I love this thread, and not just because of what was said.

Shockers · 21/10/2015 06:11

I have no idea how to respond to this.
Does your sister really slap and swear at your mum's elbows? If so, it's she that should be stopped, surely?
Is it a riddle? Are they both human?

Senpai · 21/10/2015 06:21

I think we need some covert pictures. Pretend to be texting, and get one. We need to see what we're working with here. Grin

and yes... obvs see a doctor.

Hurr1cane · 21/10/2015 06:24

How old is your sister? Is she 3?

Wtfmummy · 21/10/2015 06:45

I'm so confused by this - it's too strange... I had to double check this wasn't 1 st April...

If it's real it sounds like a fungal infection, your poor mum should go to a GP. And your sister sounds odd...

I googled it - do they look like this?

Shockers · 21/10/2015 06:46

I hope not if she's shouting, "Germy bastard elbows" in public!

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 21/10/2015 07:12

Right I think the whole they must been stopped thing has caused people to think your not serious
. I presume you mean treated. I'm actually equally as worried about your sisters behaviour, yes I'd stare at a woman hitting and shouting at an elderly woman in public.

Why have neither of you taken your mum to the doctors rather than going they must be stopped what do you think your mum is doing to cause it that you think she must be stopped. Is your cure for asthma to stop wheezing, hellif that doesn't work just shout stupid crap lungs and hit the sufferer in the chest.

If your worried about Ill health surely GP the first point of call. Not going they must be stopped!

Youarentkiddingme · 21/10/2015 07:13

I think your mum has more important things to worry about than her green elbows - like your sister.

It's likely fungal and will heal quickly with cream - your sister is the one who needs stopping.

GruntledOne · 21/10/2015 07:20

OP, you're a nurse. Surely if anyone can sort this out you can?
