To think lidl shouldn't make their vanilla pod cases out of glass (lighthearted)

They just roll around untill they smash on my flagstone flooring. Once they break and glass is everywhere then I have to bin them. I doubt the glass could be recycled as its so fragile and I would worry about it breaking on the poor bin people as they handle it.

Since the bin people wear heavy duty gloves I wouldn't worry too much on their behalf. If a fragile vanilla pod glass is the worst they've ever seen then I'd imagine it's their first day on the job. As for you, YABU to not realise that a glass cylindrical thing might, you know, roll off the worktop.

I'm so glad you put 'lighthearted' in the thread title otherwise this could have become a real bunfight......

Bit early to be on the sauce, OP.

ilovesooty · 17/10/2015 08:24

Could this be any more trivial?

Sh20 · 17/10/2015 08:25

It is a silly design, they never stay still and you can't stand them on one end as too long and thin . I expect most people smash them before using the pods!

Ah someone is bored.

I was going to use my time to solve the Middle East crisis but will concentrate on this issue instead.

Lidl! Glass is wrong! Cut it out NOW!

Sorted. OP, please don't hesitate to call me if they persist.

don't take them out of the cardboard, they don't roll then.
