Both on Graham Norton now.

Can't say a I have much of a thing for either of them, but much is being made of how beautiful Colin is

I don't get it. What am I missing?

Chris has lovely twinkly eyes

Ever since I watched Calvary I've found C O'D scary. I just can't get that character out of my head. CF isn't my type either. Both of them are Irish which is a bit of a turn off for me.

jubblie · 17/10/2015 00:48

Yes that was a brilliant show. (Did I say that I loved Matt Damon? Grin)

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 00:49

You've barely mentioned it at all! Grin

jubblie · 17/10/2015 00:49

you are a bigot and an idiot.

jubblie · 17/10/2015 00:49

Not you anemone - the bigot above...

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 00:49

Why is Irish a turnoff? No one nationality is a turnoff for me.

Behooven · 17/10/2015 00:53

Chris O'Thingy drinks a lot of whisky - he has that magic ever refilling glass thing going on.
As for Daniel Bond, I don't care if he's grumpy, I don't actually want to speak to him...

Just an aside, what a teeny tiny nonentity Rod Stewart is, defo small man syndrome.

mmack · 17/10/2015 00:55

I think Colin Farrell is lovely-he was one of the actors who donated his wages from the Dr. Parnassus film to Heath Ledger's daughter as Heath had written his will before she was born. He's very involved with Special Olympics as well. I agree that if you watch Calvary you'll never look at Chris O'Dowd in the same way again.

Bambambini · 17/10/2015 01:01

A gone watch "the disappearance of Alice Creed " after GN? What a fantastic movie.

ThatsDissapointing · 17/10/2015 01:19

I don't find either of them attractive but I like cod voice. He was a bit boring though. Quite a few of them jokes were very cringe'y. I don't mind the occasional rude joke but they have to be funny. Famous actors and actresses just get too full of themselves. I think they have too many people around them telling them how wonderful they are and fawning over their jokes and they end up believing it. Being a great actor or actress doesn't automatically mean you make a good guest.

ThatsDissapointing · 17/10/2015 01:20

Too many typos to list Blush

Lovemytent · 17/10/2015 01:23

Whenever I hear Matt Damon I can't help but think of Team America when Matt Damon can only say 'Matt Damon'. Infantile but cheesy funny. Sorry all. I am pissed.

Bloomsberry · 17/10/2015 01:27

Do explain why Irish people are a 'turn off', BlackAmerican. We're dying for the punchline.

Alisvolatpropiis · 17/10/2015 01:29

Chris O'Dowd is an ill tempered surly shit irl, I have heard.

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 01:30

I agree ThatsDisappointing, they all think they're some wonderful raconteur like David Niven. Keep it brief and keep it funny and stop your bloody rambling.

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 01:35

I did laugh/cringe when singer and professional Celtic supporter Rod Stewart appeared and referred to Graham, Colin and Chris as 'three republican boys'.

They were so uncomfortable with their 'ummmmm, er yeah' and Rod just didn't get it.

TittyBiskwits · 17/10/2015 09:33

Yabu. Chris O'Dowd's eyes are too close together and he thinks he seems to think he's hilarious when he isn't.

Although, I used to think he was ok until I found out he was married to one of the worlds most irritating people, Dawn (O) Porter. Now the pair of them just seem even more annoying. They just bounce off each other.

Littlegreyauditor · 17/10/2015 11:45

I find Colin Farrell acceptable, but I think I would need to take a wire brush and dettol to him first. He seems to be an overthinker. Google his interview with Jonathan Ross, he is fairly impressive talking about his demons.

Chris O'Dowd? Nope.

Matt Damon on the other hand is mine and I am prepared to fight dirty. [narrows eyes at you all]

Crinkle77 · 17/10/2015 12:29

There is something about Chris O'Dowd that I just can't take to. He gives me the creeps a bit.

Damselindestress · 17/10/2015 12:39

Colin Farrell won't be looking his best at the moment because he's gained weight and changed his hair etc to play a lonely bachelor in the film The Lobster. It wouldn't make sense if he looked too attractive. Not that the plot is very plausible anyway!

AnemonesCloser · 17/10/2015 12:40

Dawn O'Porter is certainly very irritating indeed.

BolshierAryaStark · 17/10/2015 12:48

I think you're being quite ridiculous & definitely BU, Colin Farrell is fit as fuck. Strikes me as a bad boy type though unfortunately.
WTF has being Irish got to do with anything?! Hmm

Nydj · 17/10/2015 12:51

Bored12345 I was beginning to think I had imagined the adoption story - it managed to be a double whammy of being boring and incredibly crass!

Behooven · 17/10/2015 13:01

Yeah we all kind of looked wtf Hmm at that really not funny adoption tale

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 17/10/2015 14:08

Sorry, I should have said it's because I'm Irish too, and I quite fancy 'difference' over 'familiar'. I'm not saying I've never met a fanciable Irishman because I lived in Ireland for a long time so have met plenty of men of all types and liked almost all of them but fancied very few. People who are from a different culture with different backgrounds to me have an inherent advantage in the fanciable stakes because I find them more interesting. If I were Malaysian I would fancy loads of them, I'm sure. (I married a Malaysian, there are a lot of Malaysian/Irish couples.)

I'm not saying that I'm not a bigot, I could well be, just that who I fancy is mostly down to factors that are not under my conscious control. I also couldn't fancy a man without a sense of humour, or someone who sniffs all the time, but do very much admire a jawline that is firm and prominent where it joins under the ear.
