dismal survey questions for yoof of today

This is being done in scotland by the government just now. I cannot believe any teenager would answer these sorts of depressing questions honestly and would completely understand them being sorely tempted to treat it all as a joke (my whole year would've at that age!). The surveys are optional etc. but I just think it is a huge waste of money, AIBU?

i think the bad part isn't the survey, but the fact its optional? why would you want to answer a survey when you could go be a kid or something

GruntledOne · 13/10/2015 17:56

Oh dear. If anyone had asked me to do that survey as a teenager, I just know that I would have filled it in with all the answers best calculated to make Daily Mail readers froth at the mouth. What idiot seriously decided that this was anything other than a total waste of time?

29 pages? Fuck that

It's as if the researchers never went to school, bet this cost loads to set up. I especially love the subtlety of the dish the dirt on your family questions, what a crock.

The SALUS survey results are taken pretty seriously by councils/nhs boards etc. Sad really. But there isn't any other way of measuring lots of this stuff.
