To march ds to the police station as he's stolen a bag

Ds13 has stolen a 5p bag from the local tesco, I checked the receipt and he hadnt paid for it and it is one of the new thicker ones. He has admitted that he didn't pay for it when using the self service till. Would the police cooperate with giving him a stern telling off if we pop down there?

Don't go to Tesco, I wouldn't put it past them to start civil recovery proceedings against your son.

Do you know he deliberately nicked the bag? If so, tell him off. If it was an oversight, tell him off. Then move on.

I reckon most people on here took the title to mean a handbag from someone else. That might merit the police. Shoplifting a sports bag or similar might too. But a plastic carrier? Madness.

Send him to the gulag OP. Oh, hang on a minute. Getting confused with the other thread you started. The one where you claim Russia Today is more objective than the BBC.

If this is real you seriously have a screw loose!

I really don't take stealing lightly, but making such a stupid fuss because a child took something, that was free a few days ago, it is quite rubbish of you.

Have a conversation with him, tell him the bags are not free anymore and stop being so up your horse. Simples!
