to feel Jackie Collins has the edge over Morrissey regarding sex?

I love Morrissey and his whimsical ways but, apparently, this is from his novel.

"playfully bit and pulled at each other in a dangerous and clamorous rollercoaster coil of sexually violent rotation"

"the pained frenzy of his bulbous salutation"

"his excitement as it smacked its way into every muscle of Eliza's body except fr the otherwise central zone"

I MISS JACKIE COLLINS.

Didn't he win an award for most awkward and un-sexy sex scene in a novel?

You'd have hoped for better off of the writer of Alsatian Cousin, really. Maybe his efforts are better when he only needs to perform over 3 minutes.

I am not reading it - I was about to finish that sentence '...even though I adore him', but I think really '...because I adore him'. It's taken my love a while to recover from the pompous verbosity of this autobiography; I can't bear to have my fantasies ruined too

He can't write prose at all. And really, it's either arrogant or unreasonable for him, or anyone else, to think it would come naturally because he can write great songs. Jackie Collins didn't expect to write hit singles, did she? Sensible woman.

I do however blame him, and Penguin, for the ridiculous pomposity of his Penguin Classics cover and now this one. Just ridiculous pandering.

I bought the biography but haven't read it yet.

I haven't read the autobiography as I am not yet ready to be disabused of my notions about him. I may never be ready.

I will also diligently avoid the novel.
