I'm often like Hmm at some of the things on facebook but this really has topped it.
AIBU to think there is nothing people won't boast/over share about any more?

Eww. I'd delete the sharer if I saw that.

Supermanspants · 03/10/2015 14:25

They must have genital warts then

pictish · 03/10/2015 14:26

Gosh!

Hellocampers · 03/10/2015 14:26

Good grief. What a ridiculous post.

That would be my comment.

VikingLady · 03/10/2015 14:28

The same person's father is iranian and moved to britain and was sharing britains first posts. They have been deleted!

Crazypetlady · 03/10/2015 14:29

I mean the person was sharing posts not his father!

Christ alive.

emotionsecho · 03/10/2015 14:39

Why would you want to post that and share those details with the wider world?

The more I read on here about FB the happier I am that I am not on it, it seems to be a place that gives free rein to the very worst elements of personalities and oddest of social interactions and behaviours.

"The more I read on here about FB the happier I am that I am not on it, it seems to be a place that gives free rein to the very worst elements of personalities and oddest of social interactions and behaviours."

Rubbish - that would be Mumsnet! At least on FB you choose the people you interact with.

That is cringey though - I'm embarrassed for the poor sod that listed that.

Notasinglefuckwasgiven · 03/10/2015 14:48

I cannot find the words to describe how bad that is. Why not just check in at the GUM clinic and post selfies in stirrups, then a screen shot of the results?

NerrSnerr · 03/10/2015 14:49

Emotions- people only have twatty things on their FB feed if they have twatty FB friends.

Mintyy · 03/10/2015 14:51

Ah it's a shame it was deleted. You could have posted:

"Shame about the halitosis, dandruff, creepy personality and low IQ though"

I don't post that much on FB and hate those soppy cringey memes but I did like this one

ANOTHER facebook post.
emotionsecho · 03/10/2015 15:06

Bambamini & NerrSnerr MN is littered with examples of what posters friends have put on or shared on FB so I still hold to my belief that it taps into recesses of personality that are better left untapped.

Bambambini · 03/10/2015 15:28

Of course the can, but the people I chose to have on FB use it as I do and it's funny (sometimes hilarious), educational and touching. I don't have to deal with all the shit people moan about as I don't have those kinds of idiots on FB as friends. You can unfriend or hide people that annoy you, you know.

ValancyJane · 03/10/2015 15:36

Ick. A friend of mine showed me (in horror) a post from a friend of hers who had posted about her smear test! Some people have no boundaries.

Cerseirys · 03/10/2015 16:04

Also, they've confused HIV and AIDS, FFS. I can't believe people still do that.
