And to then phone the landline when he doesn't answer his mobile?
Disclaimer may have woken the baby

Yes.

TimeToMuskUp · 02/10/2015 20:26

Not in the slightest. I once phoned DH from the bedroom to ask him to bring me biscuits and a cup of tea. In my defence I'd recently given birth, but I suspect I'd probably have done it anyway just to upset him.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 02/10/2015 20:27

Yes, if you woke the baby.

Not if you'd stuck to silent methods.

damselinthisdress · 02/10/2015 20:27

YABU. Why call him and risk breaking your phone when you can just jingle the bell instead?

WeAreEternal · 02/10/2015 20:28

YANBU.... I do this kind of thing often.

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 02/10/2015 20:29

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/10/2015 20:30

I would practise a sharp, piercing whistle, OP. That should speed up service.

Yika · 02/10/2015 20:30

You'd actually be wrong not to.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 02/10/2015 20:30

Texting is quieter.

BumWad · 02/10/2015 20:32

YANBU

I always text/phone DH from upstairs to bring me biscuits/glass of milk etc.

BreeVDKamp · 02/10/2015 20:32

YANBU in the slightest

FortyFacedFuckers · 02/10/2015 20:33

Absolutely not. I text my dp from bed to come and switch the bedroom light off. Yes I am a lazy cow

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 02/10/2015 20:34

Haven't you got a little bell to summon him?

YABU for even thinking of having to ask.

sharonthewaspandthewineywall · 02/10/2015 20:41

YABU. You should sack him for not having covered this dilemma covered without you having to ask.

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 02/10/2015 20:42

Love this! YANBU Wine

Toastedteacakewithbutter · 02/10/2015 20:58

YANBU I use messenger though as DH gets notifications from that so can't ignore me, I often ask for drinks etc, I sometimes msg him saying that I am in bed and how much I want him to join me, then I just ask him to turn the tv down/ turn landing light off etc Blush

Cornettoninja · 02/10/2015 21:00

Are you bollocks - what's the point of living in 2015 if you can't enjoy the perks.

It's a shame about the baby but it'll go back to sleep eventually and your dh will learn to keep an eye on his phone next time Wink

Belleende · 02/10/2015 21:04

I did text, but not sure of delivery, so called mobile. No answer, left vm. Messaged on Fb in case he was on computer and then finally called the landline. Don't you love modern communication?
Wine delivered. Baby still asleep.
Result.
And DP may get his oats laterWink

Ha ha Smile I text DH about 15 mins ago from the bath asking for more wine! We exchanged a few texts and then he appeared with wine. I love modern technology, much nicer than yelling Grin

Thisismyfirsttime · 02/10/2015 21:30

You called your own landline phone while the baby's asleep? We've got a wild one here folks! Grin

aprilanne · 02/10/2015 22:30
