....... In asking that if you don't want to take part in the derby you could log in and opt out please?

Since Supercell introduced this option it means if you want to stay in the neighbourhood and just join in occasionally to chat or play those of us who do the derby every week aren't disadvantaged.

We are being matched up with NHs with similar numbers but 100% of the members do the derby so we are always low down in the leagues.

My neighbourhood consists of me, DH and DS and basically is used for the purpose of:

• I've hired Tom, place your orders now
• Boat order for feta salad. Have you got any?

... kind of things.

I am scared of the Derby thingy. Don't understand it, so ignore it.

Not done it myself but someone in our neighbourhood did last week when she went on holiday.

If the sections were split into categories then there would be more room for the quiche relays to expand. Regulars could then apply bi-annually for the chance to differ.

Yes, it's a game.

We have messaged on the farm chat, but not everyone joins in on the chat so unless we repeat it constantly they won't necessarily get it (the chats fall off the page, and we are a very chatty lot!!).

Because they all are (or were!) MNers we hope to reach them here.

I've checked, and out of the 24 members, 12 haven't done a single task this derby.

I don't mind if they don't want to do the derby tasks, none of us do. What we DO mind is that we are getting snotted in the stakes because we are being matched against teams with 24 members who are PARTCIPATING.

I will PM those who I have a MN name for (old ones, but they should still get through), but after a week I'm afraid if you aren't participating and you haven't opted out, we're going to have to turf you out.
