He is remarried I believe, so isn't getting it anymore. It's not like he went on to have a serious long term relationship but never got married to keep the money rolling in.

Out of the two of them I am surprised he is the one labelled as 'vile' . Actually I wouldn't label either of them as that. But with all her subsequent marriages and very public relationship problems, I would say she is effecting her kids negatively.

But obviously some people, here know him personally and know more than I do.

There are alot of people far too heavily invested in these people that possibly could be vile, possibly not. How do you know all this and why do you want to know? Why does it even matter? You are fairly likely to never ever meet these people.

YANBU, he is vile. Posing with his kids on a magazine cover with his quotes slagging off their mother next to their smiling faces. Giving interviews about how amazed he was to witness natural birth and breastfeeding with Emily because he never got to go through that with his other children. I'm amazed more people can't see through his calculated little act.

The reason he is disliked on MN is because of the calculated unpleasant media campaign he ran attempting to destroy the reputation and career of his ex wife in order to further his.The way he uses his children to further his career and also apparently dumped his stepson didn't go down well either.

He also appeared to dump his wife out of the blue with zero explanation. Very unpleasant and cruel imvho.

He chooses to live through the media so frankly I have little sympathy if he dislikes his life being examined and his actions held to account by onlookers.

As an aside I wasn't that impressed with the dance,still looked pretty hip hoppy to me.

I'm pretty sure Katie doesn't involve her children with Peter Andre in the media. I've certainly never seen her slag of her kids names and manner of their birth just to have a passive aggressive dig at their other parent. I'm not particularly a fan of hers but I think he is worse than her, because at least with her what you see is what you get.

KP stopped using her kids when they got to an age where they noticed. Her public image doesn't depend on her kids. Let's not forget thanks to PA she was painted as the neglecting mother from hell in the media when clearly that isn't the case. I think she has done bloody well to ride rough shod over it. I like the way once knocked down she just gets up and on with it whilst having fun.

FWIW, I'm with you OP. I find him smarmy and irritating, and I feel sorry for his new wife, she looks meek and downtrodden.
I'm not watching Strictly this year because I can't stand a large % of the contestants and the fact I'm currently engrossed in True Blood
