He often leaves it locked in a shed with one small window on sunny days.

Goes away for weekends and leaves it. It sounds very distressed as it thumps a lot.

I know I shouldn't , but I dont feel like its his property and it isn't well cared for so would it be so bad to do this?

Call the RSPCA if you're concerned and they'll check it out.

This.

Junosmum · 26/09/2015 09:40

Is it better where it is or better dead? (Genuine question) as that is the most likely outcome of handing it to the rspca due to space restrictions. If you are genuinely that concerned then call them.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 26/09/2015 09:45

Can I just check something? Have you seen the inside of the shed? Perhaps it is laid out like a big cage? I fail to seen what would be wrong with that, provided it has plenty of food and water. Rabbits are thumpy as well, it's what they do. If you are concerned then contact the RSPCA, you know the situation best.

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 26/09/2015 09:47

This is the rabbit that annoys you because you can hear it thumping in your house, right?
