AIBU to not be bothered about morning showers? (Light hearted!)

Apparently, (light hearted banter with friends) it is weird that I don't shower every morning. I am not that bothered, and I don't have time.

HOWEVER, I do shower every night, and every time I exercise and when I feel I need it. I also change my bedding every week, and my clothes every day (at least).

I can't stand the idea of being dirty in my clean bed, even worst after commuting or being outside. No, I really don't think I smell!

Am I being THAT gross?

I shower every morning, I have a bath when I get home from work every night, unless it's netball night and I shower instead.

Netball night - I also shower when I get home.

I brush my teeth about 15 times a day too.

Just hate the feeling of grime on my body.

:) I am just used to a shower in the morning. ( also sweat a lot in bed :( ) it does help me wake up too.

My hair is very greasy so I prefer to wash it in the morning rather than the evening, so it looks better throw out the day - and I sometimes suffer from night sweats, plus our cats often ace us with their company in bed, so I couldn't bear to miss my morning shower.

Haha. My kids get a bath on a Sunday jight and a weds night. Il probably have a bath eod or every 3rd if cba on the second. I dont think it's an issue

Shower every morning (except Sundays, as have nice bath instead albeit this can be in the afternoon or evening but only if not going out and then that would be morning shower as normal). Going out to work without a morning shower would be like going out to work without cleaning my teeth, I'd feel manky all day.

I hate showers in the morning. I'll only have one if I'm on my period or ive had sex the night before and didn't have a shower after.

it takes too long in the morning - my hair takes an age to dry (I just let it dry naturally on a night).

Plus, our shower is shit - it seems to have two temperatures (scalding hot or freezing cold) and is just an over the bath job. Staying in hotels was a revelation and if we had a freestanding shower, I might shower more often.

I'm an evening shower person. I exercise most evenings so always have a shower after that. I don't see the point in having more than one shower a day.
As long as you wash regularly it doesn't matter when!

I don't shower in the mornings unless I have had sex the night before.

I have a bath the night before going to work, I will do a quick wash in my bits and pits if I have been sweaty but that happens rarely.

night time ablutions always seem obvious to me. You work and get sweaty in the day, so you get cleaned up in the evening and go to bed clean.

twice daily shower/bath would be lovely but is wasteful, so the evening one makes more sense.

Nope, I much prefer to shower or bath before bed too. Unless I have got sweaty in bed or had sex chance would be a fine thing I don't shower in the morning if I have washed the night before.

I can't bear showering in the morning. After exercise I do. I generally have a bath in the evenings.

Bubbly bath every night, what's sex? wash hair most mornings sometimes get away without and shock, horror, only change towels once a week.
I couldn't go to bed without being squeaky clean.

I'm at work by 6 some mornings and just want to get up and out as quickly and quietly as possible so shower before bed and then have a quick wash in the morning

The mornings I'm not at work early, it can be a bit of a nightmare trying to get anywhere near the bathroom - DH, 14 year old daughter so I've given up trying

I shower in the evening rather than the morning. If it's been hot overnight I might wash my armpits as well as my face in the morning.

Yep, shower before bed here too. I value my morning dozes too much.

I shower at night before bed and in the morning too. So does DH. DDs are bathed every night too! We all use fresh towels each time (another Classic MN debate!) so it's no wonder I seem to have never ending washing loads!

Exception: coming home too drunk to shower. Then I shower the next morning. It also means that the previous day, I haven't had a shower....

I shower when I get home from work around 11pm. Then clean PJs until bed where I sleep naked. My job makes me smelly and sweaty, so the thought of getting into my nice clean bed smelling like work sounds horrible.

I like to have a nice long shower or bath to unwind after a stressful shift, and pamper myself a bit afterwards. I also have very long hair that I prefer to let dry naturally. I wouldn't have time for any of this in the morning.

I will of course have a quick shower in the morning if I've had sex the night before, but otherwise I just clean my teeth and wash my face. I don't think I'm dirty!

Showering or bathing once a day is enough imo. If I showered at night I would still be fairly clean the next morning, but a morning shower is very energising for me.

I find the water at full power wakes me up, gives me energy.
For me a morning shower gives me a real lift, it's a massive energy booster.

Who showers after sex? just curious. Last thing I want to do after a good sesh is get up and function. Prefer to lie there twirling his hair in my fingers and spooning

Twinkie I shower before the gym in the morning too, and afterwards as well. I'm glad it's not just me.

Depends when in the evening we dtd. If it was done, say, whilst eastenders was on, I'll have a shower before bed. If it was when we actually went to bed, it'll be in the morning.
