to suggest H moves into DDs bedroom?

DD is off to university tomorrow so won't be there.

I don't sleep well. I thrash. I wake up. I have a dodgy back and my comfortable position is flat. But then I snore.
Obviously this irritates H and then he gets disturbed and wakes up and grumbles and gives off bad vibes which wakes me up.

The options are...

  1. I kill him
  2. He kills me
  3. Someone moves out.

I don't think it should be me. I could sleep if I wasn't disturbed by his bad vibes.

Hmm he wouldn't give off bad vibes (???) if you didn't wake him up so surely it should be you that moves.

QuiteLikely5 · 25/09/2015 12:40

Or you could visit the GP since snoring is a medical condition Smile

MaudGonneMad · 25/09/2015 12:40

You sound like the bigger culprit, so you should move.

HookedOnHooking · 25/09/2015 12:42

The snoring is because i'm on my back.

Get a better mattress, go to the GP.

You should move rooms.

Gruntfuttock · 25/09/2015 12:44

You should move not your husband.

Spartans · 25/09/2015 12:45

Yabu. You should go to the GP about the snoring or you move.

KourtneyK · 25/09/2015 12:45

The one causing the issues should move.

notaprincessbutaqueen · 25/09/2015 12:45

why should dh move out of his bed because you don't sleep well, you thrash, you stay awake and you snore?
I'd suggest you move into dd's room x

StackladysMorphicResonator · 25/09/2015 12:45

YABU - you're the one with the problem (the snoring), you should make an effort to get it fixed. See your GP, try all the over-the-counter remedies available, find something that works.

HookedOnHooking · 25/09/2015 12:45

I haven't got £800 spare for a decent matress.

He also gets up at 3am and wakes me up.

For 20 years.

Bearsinmotion · 25/09/2015 12:46

I call reverse Hmm

lunar1 · 25/09/2015 12:46

You sound like a nightmare to share with, you should move!

TeamBacon · 25/09/2015 12:46

You should move. DP is the snorer, DP was constantly disturbing my sleep. DP now sleeps elsewhere.

HookedOnHooking · 25/09/2015 12:46

And I would sleep perfectly well if left in peace.

OP posts:
TeamBacon · 25/09/2015 12:46

OK, 3am, that's different. Why, for work?

isupposeitsverynice · 25/09/2015 12:46

As a fellow snorer, I'd like to side with you. But I also get really narky when people disturb my sleep, so I'm sympathetic to moody husband too. I think you should offer to move (or just bury him in the back garden). Sorry.

TenForward82 · 25/09/2015 12:46

*He also gets up at 3am and wakes me up.

For 20 years.*

So that justifies you being inconsiderate? What a lovely marriage you must have.

MaudGonneMad · 25/09/2015 12:47

And I would sleep perfectly well if left in peace.

So would your DH, presumably.

HookedOnHooking · 25/09/2015 12:47

Not reverse.

OP posts:
MangoBiscuit · 25/09/2015 12:47

Sorry OP, another vote for you moving. Your snoring wakes him first. If you didn't snore, he wouldn't wake, which wouldn't wake you.

Spartans · 25/09/2015 12:47

I am sure he would sleep better if left in peace too.

Again tackle the problem or move.

HookedOnHooking · 25/09/2015 12:47

Damn. I'm never unreasonable.

OP posts:
DonkeyOaty · 25/09/2015 12:48

Please consult your gp about the snoring. And yes, you move.

reni2 · 25/09/2015 12:50

Re-decorate dd's room and make it the nicer one, you'll be happy to move.
