any one elses phones totally fucked up since the ios 9 update....

trying to sort with apple and failing awfully.

this was in beta testing how could they not pick up the errors.

currently totally phoneless which reallly impacts on my job.......

is it UR to expect the updates to be tested and work before they release them?

I think I must be the only person on the planet still running iOS 5...

My iPhone 6 Plus runs like a champ with iOS 9.

I wish mine did, killed the battery now its just on the connect to itunes and then keeps erroring.

A lot of people had problems, there's a new update available today again, 9.0.1 that's sorted it.

Can you do a factory reset and then restore from your back up?

I'm still running iOS 5 on my phone and iOS 6 on my ipad. I don't like change.

nope won't let me keeps failing restore or update just get the little itunes icon ..... its okay though as a senior apple support person will get back to me after 24 hours.....

after all the first two couldn't sort it.

I never update until several subsequent updates to the software have been made my Apple.

I see 9.0.1 is out now.

What model phone do you have?

9 had some acknowledged glitches. I installed 9.0.1 this morning so you might try that eventually - couldn't be much worse from the sound of things.

Have you got an Apple store near to you? You could take it in if all else fails.

No No Apple Store nearby. it keeps trying to restore then erroring. they are now blaming Microsoft fucking classic

A PITA. I have an ipad and not iphone and ios9 glitches haven't seemed to impede its functionality much - more along the lines of minor irritants.

I thought this was Jong to be a thread about a certain well known person having sexual encounters with fruit as well as dead animal parts. After all apples and pork do kind of go together.....

It's screwed up my iPad, I'm frozen on the 'slide to upgrade' screen. Apple's fix is to plug it into a computer and reset from iTunes - except computer wants me to confirm access to my iPad FROM MY IPAD. Which is frozen.

Luckily I live and work near two different Apple stores so have an appointment later on. I think it's going to need to have to be factory reset, unless they can install the fix at the store.

As someone who works in phones, and tomorrow being the busiest day of the year... I'll be telling everyone that their shiny new 6s handsets need an immediate upgrade. The phones have been ready a while so will only have 9... Yay

I was told by someone who works for apple to never upload a round number update.
Not even a 9.1 - should always be 9.1.1 or something similar.
So I take that advice and never update unless it has decimal places.
