I made a complaint about an incident at school in reference to a member of staff last week.
I've had no reply.
Aibu to expect a response and how long do I give them.

I'd be concerned that you weren't told at the time. The cynic in me wonders if you go to query progress only to be told "we have no record of a complaint" ....

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 22/09/2015 10:40

How did you make it?
But yes, I'd have expected an acknowledgement at least.

DoreenLethal · 22/09/2015 10:40

Last thing on Friday - give them another day. Midweek - yes by now.

Follow it up nevertheless.

Did you phone or email?

If it was email, it may have got lost between departments.

Ring tomorrow & check. I sent primary school an email and when I chased it up was told we don't check them every day. They prefer parents to turn up to office.
