Night 3 he has appeared! He is massive, big chunky body, very think long legs. My dh is away on business and don't know if it's that but it's starting to freak me out. I was up and after I him glimpsed him but he had run under a pillow thought I had him but he disappeared again!! What am I going to do? Has he set up home in my bed? He always shows himself around now. Shaken all the pillows and the duvet and have sprayed the bed with perfume??? Thought the smell might put him off. Help! Help! I do not want to share a bed with this enormous thing.

There is a special spider doorway vent just above the bath MrsTodd. As for what I have done - I killed a galloper that ran across my duvet a few nights ago, perhaps they are holding a memorial service in our bath. Should I offer to say a few words?

squishy yes I think you are. I can't hurt them but also CANNOT touch them. One of my dts is properly phobic so I have to be brave and catch them and release. You are right their web's are beautiful and they are useful creatures and I loved 'charlottes web' and cried at the end, but still. . . Aaarrggghhhh!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 20/09/2015 14:58

Am I the only woman in the entire world who actually likes spiders

No Smile

I'm obviously some kind of weirdo, but I think they're kind of sweet. There's a massive one at the moment who runs across the living room at almost the same time every night; I really look forward to seeing "Fred" and will miss him when he goes (Unlike BastardPuzzledCat, who cowers uselessly on seeing him)

Now slimy things like worms and slugs, on the other hand ... bleeeuuurrrggghhh!!!! Shock Shock

DanglyEarrings · 22/09/2015 14:45

There's a big fuck off one above my head - honestly never seen one like it! Feel sick now!

I'm going out! Sad

Well, the poor freak has either realised that he doesn't stand a chance now he's back OR the real reason he kept coming out and running away from you was because he was actually looking for your husband

Boyfriend just text to say his DC had deposited a spider (thankfully dead) on his pillow... The second time he has done this, last time giggles were made in the morning asking if DF had liked his present. do we think DC thinks he is a cat leaving his DF such wonderful presents!

RedNailPolish101 · 22/09/2015 22:11

I'm peterfied of the things!! I hope it has decided to go off and do spidery things somewhere else for you!
