AIBU to allow these 2 words to really annoy me?

Working in a big US owned multinational I have my fill of 'tech speak' and 'happy clappy speak' but these 2 words just set my teeth on edge.

Why can't they just stick to normal English usage to convey a very simple message?

I know the English language is evolving but this is just too much for me. Even if it is incredibly trivial.

WIBU to email back the people who use these words, point it out to them and ask them to use the correct terminology?

No you have to 'reach out', or possibly 'ping' them to point out their evil. Perhaps help them 'refuel in flight'? Maybe they need some 'gamification' in their department?
