To go for a lie down

I've been stung on my thighs - 5 times I think. Not sure what by.

Bees/hornets/wasps?

I feel a bit sick.

I am meant to be doing the accounts but I would prefer a lie down.

Sigh

Ouch!

How have you been stung there & not seen what it was? Brew

OneDay103 · 14/09/2015 12:25

Sounds painful! Off course you should lie down. Did you know when it was happening?

ExitPursuedByABear · 14/09/2015 12:33

I was walking through the woods and saw that a bottom of a tree seemed to have been dug away - it was all white bark. Then I felt this mad stinging in my thighs and batted around thinking it was nettles, but then small things seemed to fly away.

I am presuming it was a nest of some sort that had been disturbed and I walked through the ensuing anger. They were flying things but not very big.........

Left some bloody big marks behind!

Yowzer. Yes antihisthamines and a lie down :(

BastardGoDarkly · 14/09/2015 12:36

Cider vinegar dabbed on the stings if they're still stinging.

ExitPursuedByABear · 14/09/2015 12:36

Vinegar. Yes, will try that.

Can you check that there are no 'stings' left in you? Take an antihistamine and apply and ice pack to the painful areas. If you feel sick, faint or anything like that get medical advice. Several stings at once is very painful.
