I'm downstairs. They are usually so quiet and considerate. I feel uncomfortable Sad

I do the stomp loudly up the stairs and flush toilet routine. On one occasion, that didn;t stop them so I shouted up the stairs "shut up, I can't hear the tv" to which DS laughingly replied "well, turn it up then" :)

cocobean2805 · 10/09/2015 13:09

Stand at the door and shout 'LEAVE ROOM FOR JESUS!'

Then when they emerge later gush loudly about when will the wedding be, you expect a long engagement due to their age etc. Grin

Luis
I'm very new to all this. So my question is from a slightly shocked discovery this week.
I guess I have lots of questions bout length of relationship, discussion, number of partners allowed to stay over but that's probably a different thread

Every1KnowsJeffHesUsuallyACunt · 10/09/2015 13:22

LEAVE ROOM FOR JESUS

Grin
scatterthenuns · 10/09/2015 13:31

God are you lot all okay about it? How long have they been together?

Doesn't really matter what the answers to those questions are, does it? Legal, consenting human beings, doing a legal and consenting human activity. I'd love to see anybody try and stop them!

scatterthenuns · 10/09/2015 13:33

She (admittedly very inexperienced) thought a certain level of noise was normal.

Isn't it? Bed moving, huffing and puffing noises? I'm not fit enough to be quiet. I'm not quiet when I exercise either.

CatEyeFlick · 10/09/2015 13:41

Is it wrong that I have been reading this thread thinking what on earth was OP hearing as the sex when I was 16/17 was utterly crap?! blush Boys who had no clue what they were doing and I just used to lay there, occasionally making a slight squeak, but otherwise, mute. PMSL

whitechocolate EXACTLY what i was thinking as i read the thread

everyone was utterly SHIT till i was in my 20s

Madmum24 · 10/09/2015 13:41

Maybe I am a prude then. I would never ever do it when my parents were in the house, let alone the next room, be loud and think that that was ok.

Andrewofgg · 10/09/2015 13:57

I'd love to see anybody try and stop them!

If anybody was trying to stop them I would not want to see it, but I tell you what scatterthenuns - whatever floats your boat!

Becauseicannes · 10/09/2015 13:58

Well to be fair they've probably heard you shagging.

scatterthenuns · 10/09/2015 13:59

CatEyeFlick Second best shagger of my life (after DH, naturally) was my teenage boyfriend. Pwhoarrr.

scatterthenuns · 10/09/2015 14:03

be loud and think that that was ok.

Forgive me if I've missed this, but nowhere does the OP say she could hear moaning-sex sounds. That's what all the talk of being loud and porn suggests to me - that gf is moaning and DS is grunting.

OP could have heard rhythmic bed noises.

They could be completely silent and trying not to get caught - but there's nothing you can do about a creaky bed spring.

What did the OP hear?

Madmum24 · 10/09/2015 14:22

^ wasn't referring to OP specifically; others have talked about their loudness (moaning, squealing)

TinklyLittleLaugh · 10/09/2015 14:41

Cat well I guess being nice and relaxed and safe in your own bed gives you the best opportunity to get good at it.

SouthWestmom · 10/09/2015 14:49

Did you see my second post or just go straight to telling me off?

LuisSuarezTeeth · 10/09/2015 15:07

It's all a bit daunting isn't it Noeuf?
DS and gf have been together about 18 months. He spoke to me about their relationship and explained his gf had arranged contraception agreed with her mum. I allow her to stay whenever she likes and Ds stays there too. Gf was not quite 16 back then but her mum and I agreed as we felt it would happen anyway.

The noise was the bed creaking btw

Thanks luis
First boyfriend, three months. So I'm interested in context - it wouldn't be an issue really in different circs

scatterthenuns · 10/09/2015 18:38

I wasn't telling you off Noeuf. I was expressing mild amusement!
